ABOUT JENNIFER A BANDLOW


Jennifer A. Bandlow, Esq. is the founding attorney at law for of SoCal Justice Law Group. She is also a partner at The Cochran Firm – California where she fights for justice in the areas of gender equality and women’s rights, representing victims of sexual harassment, bullying, and sexual assault when schools, police officers, private employers, and other organizations promote, foster and/or turn a blind eye to such abuses. Ms. Bandlow also represents victims of gender, race, and other discrimination. She is based in Los Angeles and practices across California.

Ms. Bandlow’s practice is built on advocating for those who have been harmed at the hands of another. In the area of employment law, Ms. Bandlow holds employers accountable for discrimination, harassment, and wage-and-hour violations. One such example is that, in addition to a monetary settlement, Ms. Bandlow successfully negotiated changes in the hiring practices related to women job applicants by a major corporation. Ms. Bandlow has also represented numerous clients in the areas of products liability and medical malpractice actions, including cases involving toxic drug interactions and medical product defects.

Ms. Bandlow earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. During her time at Southwestern, Ms. Bandlow was an active participant and part of a semi-finalist team in the national Moot Court Honors Program. In her second year, Ms. Bandlow was both a participant and served on the Board of Governors of the Moot Court Honors Program, acting as the student advisor for three teams which all placed nationally. While a student at Southwestern, Ms. Bandlow was also recognized for her research contribution to “Placing Second-Parent Adoption Along the ‘Rational Continuum’ of Constitutionally Protected Family Rights” by Christine Metteer Lorillard, published in the Women’s Rights Law Reporter, Volume 30, Fall 2008.

Ms. Bandlow served as a law clerk at the Children’s Law Center of Los Angeles. The Children’s Law Center is a nonprofit, public interest legal organization which represents children in dependency court and acts as a voice for these abused and neglected youth.

Ms. Bandlow is admitted to practice law in all California courts and the United States District Court for the Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Bandlow is a member of the National Crime Victim Bar Association, an affiliate of the National Center for Victims of Crime, the California Employment Lawyers Association and the Consumer Attorney Association of Los Angeles.
